This policy explains how Scale Square LLC ("ScaleSquare", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit scalesquare.org, request a report, book a call, or work with us as a client.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, work email, firm name or website, and deal criteria when you request a report on our site. Your name, email and any notes when you book a call. Anything you send us by email.
• Client and billing information. Company name, billing contact and billing address when you become a client. Payments are handled by our third party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card or bank account numbers.
• Business contact information. For our outbound work, we use publicly available business contact details such as name, job title, company and work email.
• Technical information. Standard data your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, which our hosting provider may record in server logs.

How we use it

• To create and deliver the reports and services you ask for
• To schedule and hold calls with you
• To send invoices, take payments and keep business and tax records
• To reply to your messages and send occasional relevant business emails, which you can opt out of at any time
• To keep our site secure and working
• To meet our legal obligations

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

• Website hosting (Netlify) and application hosting (Railway)
• Call scheduling (Cal.com)
• Email and document tools (Google Workspace)
• Payment processing and banking providers
• CRM and email outreach tools

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies

Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts and a booking widget from Cal.com. These providers may set their own cookies or collect technical data under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires for tax and accounting records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on the tools we use. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing emails. To make a request, email mj@scalesquare.org. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for making a request.

International visitors

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using our site, you understand your information may be processed outside your home country.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
